5 Foods That You Must Avoid During Fasting Period, See Why

There are some kinds of foods that are very harmful to the body during fasting periods and you must avoid them throughout your fasting.



To the muslim brothers and sisters this is your fasting season and i will be showing you the kinds of food to avoid why breaking your fast.





WHY DO WE NEED TO AVOID SOME FOOD WHILE FASTING?

There should be limitations and control to the kinds of food that enters the stomach when the stomach has been empty for a while. During fasting, your stomach will be empty at most times and which makes it more acidic so there are certain foods that can cause stomach problems/disorders when taken during intermittent fasting.

below are the kinds of food:



1.AVOID PROCESSED FOODS



Obviously, most of the foods we eat are Processed in some ways, But there is a stong diffrence between mechanical processed and chemical processed. Foods that are chemically processed are usually high in some unhealthy fats and contains artificial ingridients, try and look at the label of ingridients of processed foods i'm sure that you won't even have idea of what some of the ingridients are

2.AVOID SUGARY FOODS



Sugary foods are mostly high in acids and when taken most especially between breaking period of fast, may result in additional damage to the body and also cause blood sugar problems, and may increase your chances of type 2 diabetes.



3.AVOID REFINED STARCHES



Most refined starches have had most of its nutrients removed, and eating carbs like this on an empty stomach may result in diseases like heart diseases, obesity and type 2 diabetes.



4.AVOID PROCESSED MEATS



All processed meats contains various chemical compounds which you can't find in fresh meats, eating this during intermittent fasting will increase your chances of chronic disease like cancer, heart disease, high blood pressure. Processed meats are generally considered as unhealthy.



5.AVOID FAST FOODS



Fast foods can sometimes be regarded as junk, it is usually high in fats,calories and sodium. However, some fast foods are healthier than some others, if you are fasting more than once in a week, you should try something healthier, i mean a well cooked food to stay healthy and reduce your chances of chronic diseases.
