5 Things You Should Do If Your Phone Consumes Too Much Data.
The amount of money I’ve used to buy data on my phone, if I gather them all I’m sure I would be rich by now, lol 😁 they are truly many things that are running our mobile data on our phone that we are not aware of, I’ll show you here how to stop them from consuming your data, for both iPhone and android users. 1.Turn off Device Location
This one is for both android and iPhone users , do you know that your mobile location on your device might be turned on? And you’re not using it at the moment, the service of the location feature on your phone (either android or apple) is needed when you need to use your map or when some apps needs access to your mobile location. After reading this article, you can go ahead and turn it off, you can locate it in your settings
2.App background usage for some of your apps might be turned on, and while your mobile data is one, the background usage might later end up using more than the data you were really using while pressing your phone, you can easily locate it in settings, for either android or apple phones.
3.This one is for Apple users specially, if you are using an iPhone you should understand what an iCloud means, if the files on your mobile phone are uploading to your iCloud through your mobile data, you will be in serious trouble of data wastage, because large amount of data and files on your phone are being uploaded at the same time, you can easily save yourself from this trouble by going to settings on your iPhone, click mobile data and scroll down, you will see something like this look at the image below make sure the both of them are off.
4.This feature is very helpful for iPhone users, it will help you to easily locate the app that is consuming and eating all your data bundles, once you locate it, simply turn them off, I will advice you to turn off data for all the apps that you are not going to use anytime soon and leave the essential ones like your WhatsApp, messenger etc.
5.Lastly, turning off your mobile data, when it’s not in use is advisable, not only in this case, but it also helps to save your battery too. It is advisable for you not to leave your mobile data on overnight, because some phone are programmed to update software version overnight once there is available software for the device, without the owners consent, this might consume your data for you in a manner that you don’t expect because the software size are usually large.
